ADVENT IS HERE! Day 23 INCREDIBLE!

Incredible! Incredulous! Impossible! Unknown?


A child born to a virgin?


Yet God has clearly shown


How poor our wealth of knowledge is


When measured by his own.

No man could have imagined or thought up such a plan,

To save this sinful, fallen world

And offer hope to man

No good we do can ever do

What God in Jesus can.

In Christ, God came in human form

and did himself abase,

Revealing his enormous love,

By dying in our place,

That now we might be right with him

And one day see his face.

Incredible! Incredulous! Impossible! But true!

That God himself should do all that

For love of me and you,

Go check it out, seek him yourself,

As wise men did and do.
