With the unrest witnessed in so many countries and territories where TSA is active we've decided to feature the Army's work in Pakistan over the next several weeks.
Here's the report received today; VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Report of VBS 2012
The Children Ministry of the Salvation Army has organized Vacation Bible Schools in 6 corps of Pakistan and more than 300 kids from community and almost 60 volunteers participated.
The theme of the VBS was the Fruit of Spirit and included various sections; worship, Bible lessons, games, crafts and awareness. Lessons on the Fruit of Spirit focused on; kindness, love, joy, goodness. And games were also focused in the same way; child self protection, self control activities were inculcated.
After the six weeks of completing the lessons the children graduated and were awarded 'completion certificates' in the church with their parents and church leaders present.
Overall during vacations children happily participated and parents were also motivated to send their children to such a worthwhile and valuable event.
